Large Magellanic Cloud

Astrotrac/PolariePosted by Koen Miskotte Fri, October 28, 2011 16:03:23

During the period of 25 july untill 7 august I stayed on the Hakos guestfarm in Namibia to observe the meteor stream the southern delta Aquariids. In the second week I also made some astropictures from many southern objects. Here you find the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). It is the third closest galaxy to our milkyway. It is only visible at the southern hemisphere.
